Message from the Pastor
Dear Family and Friends,
We are in our season of Church Growth and Renewal, Renewed Focus on Christian Education, and Renewed Focus on our Family Life Center. We must become a community of believers, a family of one body, and we want to foster a culture of generosity that lives with abundant care for one another and for God.
Building our Family Life Center is not something that someone else will do for us. Although we will seek and welcome support from any source, it is something we do together, each and every one of us. God’s spirit is the wind that moves us forward, but it takes the commitment of all of us to make it happen. We exist to make sure it actually happens as we grow in service and love.
There is a long list of dreams, aspirations, and needs in our communities, just waiting for our Church to answer the call for help and direction. It takes commitment, encouragement and a walk of faith. The question is what will we commit to do because we understand it’s essentially part of who we are.
Our Capital Stewardship Campaign can sound like it’s about paying for a building – but it isn’t. It is about seizing the opportunity to make the Vision God has given us a reality. I truly believe in this project. I know the benefits it will provide for our church and the community. The Family Life Center facility will cost a total of $6 million dollars to build. Therefore, I need your support to reach our campaign goal of $300,000 annually over a 5 year period.
